(April 20, 2012) — Theme Park Review (TPR) has released point of view videos of 2012’s newest coasters – OzIRIS at Parc Asterix, The Swarm at Thorpe Park, Wild Eagle at Dollywood, and Wodan Timburcoaster at Europa Park.  TPR has also released point of view footage on what’s billed as the world’s fastest coaster – Formula Rossa – from their visit  few weeks ago to Abu Dhabi’s Ferrari World.  The videos, whose footage is either supplied by the respective parks or filmed by TPR members with the park’s permission, can be found on this special playlist on the IPM News YouTube channel.

Founded in 1996 by coaster aficionados Robb and Elissa Alvey, Theme Park Review has evolved into a leading fan site for attractions and theme park enthusiasts.  Features include park and attraction reviews, news, trip reports, forums, and an online shop selling DVD’s of some of the more than 1500 coasters the Alveys have ridden.  In addition to the website, Theme Park Review teams up with leading North American parks for special fan “bash” events, featuring behind the scenes tours, presentations from park management, and extended ride time on top coasters.  The Alveys also arrange and lead regional guided tours of parks and attractions, with locations as diverse as Italy, China, and the UAE in 2012.
