The Weber Group describes its new Director of Marketing, Kathryn Giles as someone who has never met a stranger. Her friendly nature and ability to put others at ease makes her the poster-woman for career satisfaction and community involvement. As a Business Development and Marketing professional, her formula for success is strategic and contagious.
She has led solution based strategies and championed growth of companies for 15 years. Her experience in healthcare, banking, data center/IT and the construction industries makes her a valuable partner to the clients she serves. She has been groomed to be a visionary and a doer that translates into success for both her clients and the companies she works for.
For her industry, has served as the sponsorship chairperson for Kentucky’s Society of Marking Professional Services. She also has served on the Facilitator and Plaque Ceremony Task Force for the Kentucky’s U.S. Green Building Council’s Advocacy Committee. She has been a member of the Urban Land Institute, Association of Builders and Contractors of Kentucky, CCIM, AIA of Kentucky, IFMA and the Builders Exchange of Louisville.
She has a MBA from Bellarmine University, a BS in Statistics from Eastern Kentucky University and is certified in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop. Her marketing experience has also offered her opportunity to learn newsletter and website applications. She embraces technology and is not afraid to use it.
In her free time, she serves her community fundraising for Team in Training for the Leukemia Lymphoma Society of Kentucky and Southern Indiana and running.
