WhiteWater opening ERA headquarters in Munich headed by Rainer Maelzer

WhiteWater announced on Monday that they are extending their presence in Europe, Russia, and Africa (ERA) region by opening a new European headquarters in Munich, Germany.

In close cooperation with the executives in Richmond, the new office will be focused on implementing a new strategy of locals for locals. Led by industry leader Rainer Maelzer, the expanded team will include business development managers, designers, slide path engineers, project managers, site supervisors and after-sales specialists. Boasting multiple languages and decades of industry experience, WhiteWater is now centrally located in the region and better positioned to deliver the best water parks in the world for European, Russian and African clients.

In a future of large private operated indoor and outdoor water and theme parks, the new ERA team intends to lead the market with the most comprehensive product portfolio in the industry, creative product combinations, and unique service provided by a local team. “WhiteWater offers both the portfolio and know-how of a world market and the experience of a European player,” said Rainer Maelzer, President of WhiteWater ERA GmbH. “The opening of WhiteWater’s new office in Munich is a great demonstration to our dedication to the region; we wanted to have a local European full service company to underpin our corporate strategy of supporting locals for local.”

Continuing their presence in the Mediterranean with Executive Vice President Grant Poje remaining in Barcelona, the new office in Germany will be the sixth global location for WhiteWater.

The creation of a new office in the ERA region is only the beginning for WhiteWater. With 2020 drawing to a close, the company is looking towards other opportunities in the region and will soon break ground on the first Endless Surf pool in Paris.
