WhiteWater West Provides Innovative Slides to Carnival Cruise Ships

Richmond, BC, Canada — Set to sail the high seas for the very first time on June 3rd, Carnival Breeze, the newest Carnival “Fun Ship”, will offer guests a splashing good time with Carnival WaterWorks, an onboard waterpark featuring a signature Champagne Bowl waterslide, an AquaPlayTM AP1050 multi-level interactive play structure and other exciting WhiteWater attractions.

In 2009, the first Champagne Bowl was created by WhiteWater’s in-house team of experts to specifically accommodate Carnival’s request for an onboard SpaceBowlTM. Since the SpaceBowl’sTM splash pool would take up too much deck space, the Champagne Bowl was designed to produce the same thrilling drop, centrifugal forces and wall time, but with a compact, spiral staircase exit.

Breeze will be Carnival’s third Champagne Bowl installation

Carnival Spirit, popular for its Alaskan, Hawaiian, Tahitian and the Fijian destinations, also recenty added another ‘first’ with its AquaDrop installation. An AquaDrop is created when an AquaLaunch capsule is added to a high-thrill speed slide for an unforgettable adrenaline-rush!

WhiteWater is proud to have a long-standing relationship with Carnival Cruise Lines and we look forward to continuing to bring new innovations onboard!
