Wyatt Design Group Welcomes Stutz, Hirsch, and Sherbrooke, Promotes Cunningham

Pasadena, CA, USA (November 16, 2015) – Themed entertainment and leisure destination design studio Wyatt Design Group is proud to announce and welcome three new team members: Mark Stutz as Show Set Designer, Heidi Hirsch as Project Manager, and Kevin Sherbrooke as Facility Architect.  Congratulations to Meg Cunningham on her recent promotion from Show Set Designer to Senior Art Director.

Mark-StutzMark Stutz is an experienced designer and producer with accomplishments in a variety of theme park, retail and hospitality, and environmental design projects. Providing Show Set Design for Wyatt Design Group, Mark brings valuable insight from his Mg experience with Walt Disney Imagineering, Sega Gameworks, and various projects around the world including attractions for Paramount Licensing, Haunted Mazes for Universal Studios Hollywood, as well as theme parks in Asia and the Middle East including Monkey King (Thinkwell Group), Red Sea Astrarium (Rubicon Holdings), and Ferrari World (MSA). Educated at Art Center College of Design, Professional Development Training from Harvard Design School, and an MBA certificate from UCLA Anderson School of Management, Mark gives back to education in his off-hours by being an adjunct professor at Art Institute of California teaching industrial design and set design.

Heidi-Hirsch_154x225Heidi Hirsch is a Project Manager for Wyatt Design Group working on numerous high-profile projects at once. As an experienced creative producer, project and design manager, art director, interior designer, and production designer, Heidi has contributed to theme park projects across the globe. For Riva Creative USA she worked on the design teams as Design Manager – Interiors for Motiongate and Bollywood theme parks in Dubai, Colorist for Universal Islands of Adventure, part of the interior design team for Sony Development’s Meteron, a location-based entertainment venue, and as a Walt Disney Imagineer she worked on the design teams of Splash Mountain Florida, Mickey’s Toontown, Disneyland Paris and MGM Studio Tours. With nearly three decades of experience in the design industry, Heidi is also an active member of the Screen Actors Guild, is an avid photographer, and her latest passion is creating Free Libraries.

Kevin-SherbrookKevin Sherbrooke, a Licensed Architect and Certified Interior Designer in California, as well as a LEED® AP and General Contractor, is currently Facility Architect for Wyatt Design Group. With prior experience working with Walt Disney Imagineering, Universal Studios, Hetzel Design, Riva Creative USA, Callison Architects, and Jerde Partnership, Kevin’s extensive theme park experience includes multiple attraction projects for Motiongate Studios and Bollywood Studios (Dubai), The Red Sea Astrarium (Jordan), Paramount Park Spain, Disney Parks in Tokyo, France, Anaheim and Orlando, and Universal Studios Islands of Adventure. With a Master’s in Architecture from Cal Poly Pomona, a Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design from UCLA, and numerous professional licenses and certifications, Kevin also holds a specialization in 3D Computer Visualization and Construction Documents for Theme Park Attractions.

DB8A8937Meg Cunningham’s design work encompasses a wide range of environmental experiences through collaborative theater, spatial installation, and themed entertainment.  Meg joined Wyatt Design Group in 2014 to produce show set production design on projects including Six Flags Justice League: Fight for Metropolis 4D attraction. She is now Senior Art Director working on multiple international projects and attractions.  Prior to landing at Wyatt Design Group she collaborated on the design of several attraction projects with RGH Entertainment, including the Red Sea Astrarium. With a Bachelor of Architecture degree, Magna Cum Laude, from Cal State San Luis Obispo, and a Masters of Fine Art in Scenic Design from Carnegie Mellon University, Meg’s creative skills include scenic painting, model construction and painting, figure drawing and carpentry to round out her architectural and design expertise. Meg has continued her passion for storytelling as a scenic designer in local theater production whenever the opportunity presents itself.  She also teaches courses on Set Design at Azusa Pacific University and Glendale Community College in Los Angeles.

Wyatt Design Group is fully staffed and busy working on multiple international and domestic destination entertainment projects providing master planning and design services.

Raised in San Diego on theme parks, zoos, and IMAX films, InPark's Senior Correspondent Joe Kleiman would expand his childhood loves into two decades as a projectionist and theater director within the giant screen industry.
