Nominees Unveiled for the 2020 Licensing International Excellence Awards

The 2020 International Licensing Awards ballot has been finalized, featuring a star-studded list of nominees form all over the world vying for the industry’s most prestigious honor.

More than 600 entries were received this year from companies in 22 countries. Those submissions were judged by a panel of 152 executives from 20 nations. The hours of analysis and evaluation by those judges produced a ballot that includes 175 nominees in 23 categories of brands, properties and companies.

“This elite group of nominees is truly representative of the global licensing community, showcasing the creativity and innovation that is part of our industry’s DNA,” says Maura Regan, president, Licensing International. “During these difficult times, we want to make sure that we don’t forget about the importance of celebrating the companies and people behind these successes.”

In the next phase of the Licensing Awards process, members of Licensing International will submit their votes online when the member voting period opens next week. Each member company gets to submit one ballot.

The winners will be unveiled at the Awards Ceremony during Licensing Expo, where the year’s Hall of Fame inductee and Rising Stars are also honored at a gala evening celebration and networking event.
