Carowinds Continues Expansion with Harmony Hall Marketplace

Charlotte, NC, USA /PRNewswire/ — Carowinds, Thrill Capital of the Southeast is excited to open Harmony Hall Marketplace; a brand new dining and entertainment facility.  Harmony Hall will offer a variety of unique dining options and live shows throughout the day.  The venue greatly expands the choices for park guests looking to enjoy a meal, or show.

Known for coasters and thrills the amusement park located in Charlotte on the North, South Carolina border is in phase one of a multi-year expansion plan. Crediting growth in the Charlotte area, Cedar Fair is investing more than $50 million in the park over the next few years to update and improve every aspect of the guest experience from rides and dining to entertainment and infrastructure.   Harmony Hall is the latest improvement, offering guests new and delicious dining options with a focus on expertly prepared food made with fresh ingredients.  The menu will feature a variety of favorites like Carolina style bbq, summertime classics from the grill, healthy salads, custom made pizzas, baked goods and more.  Guests can also choose from hundreds of specialty drink options from the Coke Freestyle beverage stations.

Located at the foot of the parks largest coaster The Intimidator, Harmony Hall will seat up to 500 people and feature an open design with restaurant stations, seating area, stage, and bar area within 26,500 square feet of air conditioned space.

In addition to the new dining options, Harmony Hall will offer a number of live shows. Kickin’ Country will entertain guests every afternoon with hourly shows featuring country favorites that will have guests clapping and singing along.  Todays performers are taking  their place on a stage filled with Carowinds history.  Harmony Hall Marketplace is named after one of the parks original theatre’s that entertained guests through many decades.  As the park grows and expands it aims to fill the needs of modern parkgoer’s while honoring its rich past as the Carolinas destination for entertainment, thrills, and fun.
