Cedar Point HalloWeekends Begin with New Haunts and Family Fum

Sandusky, OH, USA (Sept. 13, 2012) /PRNewswire/ — Beginning this Friday, Sept. 14, one of America’s favorite fright fests returns to Cedar Point for a 16th season! During daylight, families can enjoy parades, costume contests, plenty of treats and tamer tricks. By night, the park falls under a more ominous shadow as more than 300 creepy characters are unleashed throughout the peninsula. For seven weekends, guests can experience 10 “spine-tingling” walk-through attractions, live shows and more in addition to nearly 70 thrilling rides on America’s Roller Coast. New this year is the Eden Musee’ Wax Museum and Chamber of Horrors, a chilling throwback to the historic attraction housed at Cedar Point from 1918 to 1966. In a forlorn corner of Frontiertown, the museum’s owner has died and his children have taken over, using their own haphazard methods for creating wax figures that don’t always stand still. Guests will see the nightmarish assembly in the boiler room and hear the cries for help in the Chamber of Horrors.
