Amsterdam, The Netherlands – Cruden, the Amsterdam-based designer and manufacturer of professional motion-based simulators, simulator software, components and track and car models has produced its No. 100 simulator. The special-liveried centennial simulator, a Hexatech Formula Style, will be displayed and driven by guests at the Asian Attractions Expo (China National Convention Center, Beijing; 18-20 June 2014; booth 840), sitting alongside a technical demonstrator of Cruden’s newest simulator, the PowerBoat 3CTR.

Cruden, founded in 2006, originated from Fokker Aircraft Company and FCS Racing Simulation meaning it has been developing professional motion simulators since the 1990s. With technology used first in the aerospace industry, Cruden has helped to transfer realistic accurate motion simulation into the marine, automotive, motorsport and attractions industries.

“What better way to exhibit for the first time in Asia than with such a statement of our established, proven race simulator technology?” says Frank Kalff, commercial director for Cruden. “The Hexatech Formula Style simulator is the exact same technology as used by our customers in professional motorsport and very popular with simulator centres around the world.

“It is testament to Cruden’s progress that we are also launching our new powerboat simulator in Asia, at the show. We have spent hours with the Dutch military measuring and modelling its fast interceptor vessels and security boats to get the motion just right.”
