Dean Sharits Joins Visioneering Studios

Irvine, CA, USA — Dean Sharits, MBA, has joined Visioneering Studios, effective November 15th. He will be heading up business development and client liaison for Visioneering Leisure Group based out of the firm’s Charlotte, NC studio.

Dean’s role is enhanced by his 35+ years of experience in the themed entertainment industry. As a manager, producer or executive producer, Dean has overseen countless entertainment-based projects from conception through completion, as well as having senior management responsibilities at several prominent entertainment companies. He has held positions at Walt Disney Imagineering, Apogee Productions, Landmark, Universal and Paramount Parks; as an independent contractor, he has also provided services for a vast number of other industry companies.

Dean holds degrees in Engineering and Business, as well as an MBA. He has published articles in marketing research and business journals, and is well versed in marketing strategy, business planning, and economic analysis. Six projects under Dean’s leadership received THEA Awards, and he was granted a patent for an innovative ride concept during his tenure as Vice President of Paramount Parks. His diverse portfolio includes the world’s first looping coaster (Revolution), EPCOT Center, T2-3D, SpongeBob 3-D, Tomb Raider, and the Viejas destination in Southern California.

Dean will be joining other former Disney Imagineers, including THEA Award recipient John Parker and Visioneering Founder and Chief Creative Officer Mel McGowan.
