Discovery Science Center Issues RFQ for Exhibit Design-Build Firms for New Los Angeles Location

Santa Ana, CA, USA — Discovery Science Center invites Exhibit Design-Build firms to submit their Qualifications for Discovery Science Center of Los Angeles.

Opening in Fall 2014, Discovery Science Center Los Angeles (DSCLA) will fill a deep community need for science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) education. DSCLA will leverage its location in the Hansen Dam Recreation area to educate visitors about Earth, natural resources and environmental stewardship. Visitors will also learn more about steps they can take toward healthy living, such as exercise and healthy eating choices. Infants and toddlers will have exhibits devoted to getting ready for the transition to school.

DSCLA is requesting submittals of qualifications from vendors to design, fabricate, and install all or part of the DSCLA exhibits, including large-scale environmental structures, interactive exhibits with audio-visual and multimedia components.

All Qualifications are due to DSCLA no later than September 25, 2013, 2:00 pm.
