Euro Attractions Show 2017 To Be Held in Berlin

Leaders of the leisure, attractions, tourism, and entertainment industries will come together to showcase and explore innovative products and services at Euro Attractions Show (EAS), Berlin Messe and Exhibition Center in Germany (pictured above), September 26 – 28, 2017. Hosted by the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA), this conference and trade show travels around Europe to hubs for the leisure industry. EAS 2017 is the largest conference and trade show for the attractions industry in the Europe, Middle East, Africa region and expects more than 11,000 leisure professionals to attend with more than 100 countries represented.

The business of the leisure and attractions industry

EAS is the gathering place for the €8.6 billion European leisure and attractions industry. More than 500 companies will display their innovations across over 12,000 square meters of exhibit space for the more than 6,000 buyers to experience first-hand. Buyers represent theme and amusement parks, water parks, family entertainment centers, zoos, aquariums, hotels, resorts, museums, cultural attractions,  outdoor amusement organizers, and more from throughout Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Companies can also request conference space to hold business meetings while  at the event.

Extensive education offerings for leisure development

In addition to the trade show, EAS 2017 will offer an extensive and diverse education program from September 24-28. The program includes 25 educational sessions and will feature  presentations by some of Europe’s leading operators on topics such as industry trends,  innovative technologies, marketing and communications, entertainment, government relations, safety and security, food and beverage, games and merchandise, facility operations, human resources, and more. Leisure facilities can learn how to further develop their facilities and stay ahead of any changes in the leisure industry landscape. Participants can also enjoy networking and behind-the-scenes tours to Berlin’s tourism attractions, including Tropical Islands, Filmpark Babelsberg, and more.

The EAS 2017 Opening Reception will kickoff the week of events at the Berlin Messe and Exhibition Centre.

Berlin Messe and Exhibition Center

EAS 2017 will take place at the Berlin Messe and Exhibition Center, one of the largest and most modern venues for meetings, conferences, and exhibitions in Europe. The Berlin Messe has an excellent accessibility and connections, as it is located close to the city center. The exhibition building has U-bahn and S-bahn stations for easy airport and city center transportation.
