Euromax, the European Association for giant screen, specialty and institutional documentary films,  announces its 2018 Conference will take place from June 10-12th at la Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciències (the City of Arts and Sciences), Valencia, Spain, in the year that marks the host venue’s 20th anniversary.

The Hemisfèric dome theater – also Spain’s largest cinema the only dome theater in Spain – will become home to exciting new giant screen documentary film screenings for the three day Euromax film event.

Euromax will this year also be held in partnership with Barco as the first-named event sponsor. Barco, with integration partner and digital cinema specialist, Proyecson, will install a temporarily upgraded laser 4K insert projection system for the playback of high resolution digital 2D and 3D films.

The theatre’s existing 1570 IMAX® Dome projection system will also be in operation to promise delegates a broad range of presentation formats and a compelling event program.

For more than twenty years, the Euromax Meeting has gathered annually in a specially chosen European location for decision makers and key professionals of the giant screen cinema industry to meet and screen new giant screen film releases and trailers. It has always been an instrumental time for key discussions, new business opportunities and high-value networking in areas of production, licensing, technical installation and content diversification.
