San Antonio, TX, USA /PRNewswire/ — Bahama Blaster, featuring the world’s steepest water slide drop at 80 degrees, is now open and the thrilling centerpiece of a massive water park expansion in White Water Bay. Bahama Blaster offers an adrenaline rush like no other collection of slides in the region. This addition to White Water Bay features four body slides that sit side-by-side with a unique launching capsule system. After reaching the top of the six-story tower, guests step into the enclosed vertical capsule where the floor drops out beneath them, sending riders free-falling 40 miles-per-hour down the slide.

“Delivering again this year on our tradition of providing extreme thrills, we are excited to unveil the world’s steepest water slide, Bahama Blaster, in our free water park, White Water Bay,” said park president Martin Bozer. “And for guests who prefer something a bit more tranquil, we are introducing several new water park amenities including two fun kids’ slides, new relaxing cabanas, and the tropically themed Dom Julio’s Beach Bar,” Bozer added.

Guests visiting Dom Julio’s Beach Bar, a swim or walk-up refreshment oasis, will be able to enjoy adult beverages (including one-of-a-kind signature drinks), along with soft drinks, bottled water, and nachos.

Connected to Dom Julio’s is the park’s new lounge pool, Paradise Cove featuring a small pool area for younger guests to relax and splash in after coming down the exciting twin kids’ slides, Bamboo Chutes.

In addition to the thrilling new guest areas in White Water Bay, Fiesta Texas offers a new luxury amenity: Cabana Village with six all-new luxury cabanas featuring ceiling fans, a dining table and chairs, two recliners and a fully stocked mini-refrigerator. Several catering options are also available. Cabanas may be rented for an additional fee.
