FlyOver America Takes Flight Inside Mall of America

Minneapolis, MN, USA (April 19, 2016) — FlyOver America – the $20 million fully-immersive virtual flight attraction that takes guests on an aerial voyage of the nation’s most popular landmarks – is now open at Mall of America®.

During the 10-minute “flight”, guests will feel like they are truly floating above the landscape as they experience a birds-eye view of varied locations stretching from Alaska to Hawaii to Maine. Special effects including wind, mist and scents add to the immersive nature of the attraction. Riders are suspended in the air with feet dangling 10 to 40 feet above the ground and transported in a giant half-spherical dome screen.

“The reception of FlyOver America has been incredible,” said Stephen Geddes, FlyOver America co-founder. “There’s nothing quite like seeing those who haven’t had the opportunity to travel or see different parts of the USA get off the ride with a feeling of awe.”
