Fort Worth Museum of Science & History, Walt Disney Family Museum on The Go Group recommended list

After two years of construction, the entire Pearl Harbor Visitor Center in Honolulu, Hawaii was finally finished and opened to the public in December 2010.  The new museum offers visitors a comprehensive look at the infamous attack and the aftermath.

The Fort Worth Museum of Science and History recently moved into an architecturally noteworthy building in the heart of the city’s cultural district. The world-class facility features a collection of new, interactive exhibits and programs.  
History buffs will appreciate the National Museum of American Jewish History, which opened in its new location steps from Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell in historic Philadelphia. Originally founded in 1976, the museum is the only one dedicated to chronicling the American Jewish experience.
The Walt Disney Family Museum will receive a Thea Award in March 2011 from the Themed Entertainment Association
The Museum of Fine Arts, (MFA), Boston opened its widely acclaimed new wing devoted to Art of the Americas in November 2010. The project represents the most expansive initiative focused on American art and culture happening in the world today.
For those with quirkier interests, the world’s first Eight Track Museum is now open in the Deep Ellum Arts District of Dallas. The museum also features other audio formats in an attempt to preserve antiquated media.
