Gilbertsville, PA, USA (March 8, 2016) – Last year marked a historic milestone for the Gateway Arch, as the nation’s tallest man-made monument celebrated the 50th anniversary of its completion. The Gateway Arch and Gateway Arch Riverboat Cruises, which together welcome over 2 million visitors annually, also embarked on an RFP process for a new ticketing and admission control solution. They selected Gateway Ticketing Systems.

Gateway Ticketing Systems will provide its Galaxy® Product Suite to the Gateway Arch and Gateway Arch Riverboats including ticketing, admission control, group sales, eGalaxy™ responsive design webstore, resource management, upsell capabilities, food and beverage, and retail solutions.

“We are very excited to partner with Gateway Ticketing Systems, an organization that has an incredible footprint in working with tourist destinations,” says Sarah Clarke, acting director of Arch operations for Bi-State Development, which operates the Arch’s ticketing and tram system. “Their suite of services and technical support will enhance our visitor experience, and allow our guests to enjoy a top-notch Arch and riverboat experience.”

“The Gateway Arch needs a reliable partner who can provide support outside of normal business hours,” says Steve Bell, Gateway Ticketing Systems’ Business Solutions Architect. “With our 24.7.365 support and commitment to customer care, we will be there for them whenever they need us while also delivering a stable, robust software solution that will provide their guests with a better experience.”

The new ticketing software will go live in early March.
