Global Study Launched on the Future of Arts, Media, and Entertainment

Message from the Millennium Project:

“What’s new in the future of art? What do visionaries think will become the next big things? What are engineers inventing to change how we will perceive?

“The newly formed Arts/Media Node of The Millennium Project – a global think tank with 40 Nodes around the world – has launched an online questionnaire to find out the answers.

“The results will be published in the 2011 State of the Future report and used as inspiration to create and implement existing and future art forms to address global challenges.

“Just as the Florentine Camerata (an arts “think tank”) invented and produced the first European Opera in the late 1500s, the Arts/Media Node seeks to help invent and inspire the future of the arts, media, and entertainment – but this time on a global basis.

“‘This Delphi is great. It is the best I have ever seen on creative industries trends,’ as quoted by Arts & Media Node member Klaus Haasis, CEO, MFG Baden-Württemberg GmbH, Public Innovation Agency for ICT and Media Stuttgart, Germany.
