Hershey Entertainment & Resorts officially opened Hershey Inn & Suites on May 1. Located at 1300 West End Avenue in Hummelstown, the four-story, 130-room property marks the company’s first brand-new hotel in nearly 60 years. Joining the portfolio of The Official Resorts of Hersheypark, the hotel offers a modern, value-driven experience for families, couples and business travelers just minutes from the gates of Hersheypark amusement park.
The hotel offers guests key amenities like complimentary hot breakfast (a first for an Official Resort of Hersheypark), a lobby bar, 24/7 arcade, a fitness center and an indoor pool open year-round.
“With our fourth Official Resort of Hersheypark, we continue to expand our lodging portfolio to offer guests incredible value,” said Jason Heath, Hershey Entertainment & Resorts Vice President of Resort Operations. “The addition of Hershey Inn & Suites allows us to offer more guests the signature hospitality and exclusive benefits that define a stay in Hershey.”
The hotel also offers seven family suites with built-in bunk beds, a first for a hotel in The Official Resorts of Hersheypark portfolio. These suites accommodate up to six guests and include a queen bed, a full sleeper sofa in a separate living space and in-room amenities.
Additional room types include Double Queen rooms and Premium King rooms with sleeper sofas. To cater to larger parties and multi-generational families, nearly every room in the hotel is designed to connect to other rooms.
“We are thrilled to welcome guests through our doors starting today,” said Joseph Blessing, Hershey Inn & Suites General Manager. “From our year-round indoor pool to signature Family Suites with bunk beds and complimentary hot breakfast, on top of the Free Resort Benefits for those heading to Hersheypark, Hershey Inn & Suites was designed with the guest experience in mind.”
