IAAPA Expo Europe opens in Paris

Sept 17, 2019 — IAAPA Expo Europe (formerly Euro Attractions Show), the largest international conference and trade show for the leisure and attractions industry in the Europe, Middle East, Africa (EMEA) region, opened today at the Paris Expo Porte De Versailles. Hosted by IAAPA, this year’s event features the largest show floor in the event’s history with more than 600 exhibiting companies across 17,500+ net square meters of exhibition space. More than 15,000 leisure, tourism, and entertainment professionals from more than 100 countries are expected to discover new business opportunities, learn from global experts, and establish valuable professional connections.

In addition to a record-breaking trade show floor, IAAPA Expo Europe features an extensive speaker line-up of industry innovators and offers diverse networking events at leading French attractions. 

Special events include the Opening Reception at Jardin d’Acclimatation, an amusement park located in the heart of Paris, on Sept. 17, and the Leadership Breakfast on Sept. 18, featuring Nicolas de Villiers, président of Puy du Fou. De Villiers directs the staging and oversees the strategy of the unique Puy du Fou historical shows and performances for the park which welcomes more than two million visitors annually.

On Sept. 17, prominent leaders of European park groups will share their insights and perspectives on the French amusement park market while providing strategies and approaches to industry trends and challenges during the Lunch and Learn: What’s Next for the French Attractions Industry. On 18 Sept., the Lunch and Learn: Eye on the Middle East and Africa Attractions Industry will feature industry leaders discussing the latest developments in the Middle East and Africa regions.

During Future Feature: The Future of Disneyland Paris on Sept. 19, Daniel Delcourt, chief operating officer for Disneyland Paris and David Wilson, Walt Disney Imagineering site leader for Disneyland Paris, will share a look into the future of the resort.
