IAAPA’s Institute for Attractions Manager to Take Place for First Time in Asia

Hong Kong — The intensive, two-day Institute for Attractions Managers, offered for the first time in Asia by the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA), will take place immediately prior to Asian Attractions Expo (AAE) 2012, 3 – 5 June in Hong Kong. The program has been presented throughout Europe, the United States, and Latin America.

The Institute is designed to foster the professional development of rising attractions industry leaders with at least three years of management experience. The courses are a blend of classroom instruction, audio presentation, case study, classwork, and fieldwork in five core management areas: finance, revenue operations, safety, marketing, and human resources.

“As a global association, IAAPA is committed to offering its training and education programs around the world,” said IAAPA Asia Pacific Executive Director Andrew Lee. “It is important to provide professional development such as the Institute for Attractions Managers here in Asia, the fastest growing segment of the industry.”
