Laserforce International Introduces New Software Expansion Featuring Player Achievements
We’ve been using achievements in our own operations for months already with amazing results.” — Sam Kelley, Laserforce International Executive Officer
Brisbane, Australia — Laserforce International, a laser tag industry pioneer and leading  developer of top-end laser tag, has announced the release of their new ground-breaking software expansion that will give guests a whole new reason to play laser tag.

Laserforce’s comprehensive membership system which already uses skill levels, special abilities and automatic handicapping to generate the industry’s highest throughput, has been expanded to include ‘Achievements‘.

Just like modern video games, players can partake in challenges to unlock achievements which appear on their playing career profile in recognition of their accomplishments. With such challenges as “Complete 10 games in a single day” and “Complete 1000 games” it is easy to see how this concept has massive revenue increasing potential. Plus operators have complete freedom to create their own achievements to meet their own site needs.

Every player’s record of achievements, skill level, high score, total games played and mission history, is stored by the Laserforce PC. Players then access this information via a touch screen interface using their RFID member card at the Member Kiosk in the foyer.

Players can also access this information online at www.iplaylaserforcetag.com. Here they can also locate their closest Laserforce site or see how they rank compared to other players from around the world.

Like all Laserforce features, R&D for them takes place at the Laserforce HQ and world’s longest running laser tag site where they are battletested before they are released onto the market.

“Some of our players who have played well over 5,000 games love it because they now have something new to work towards and old players are coming back. It’s proven to be another excellent way to keep our customers engaged,”  said Sam Kelly, Laserforce International’s Executive Officer.

The software expansion will soon go out to some 150 Laserforce operators worldwide as part of their world-class Support & Upgrade Program.

At HQ we are constantly developing and adding new features to the Laserforce system that increase profits and operational efficiency. Every year we supply these new features in a bundle to all our sites to keep them happy and profitable,” said Kelly. “We believe that by backing our own product and using it in our own site, we can provide a level of support to our customers that sets us apart from other manufacturers.”

Laserforce’s new achievements, touch screen members’ kiosk and iplaylaserforce.com are only the beginning for a new concept of next-gen laser tag.

“Now has never been a more exciting time to be part of the Laserforce family with the social media integration, an experience-based leveling system and more features still to come,” notes Kelly.
