Lenny Lipton to Keynote 38th Annual National Stereographic Association Conference (3D-Con) Taking Place in Costa Mesa July 24 Through 30

Costa Mesa, CA — The National Stereographic Association’s annual conference, 3D-Con, is coming to Costa Mesa, California for its 38th year.

The event will take place July 24 – 30, 2012 at the Costa Mesa Hilton, 3050 Bristol St., Costa Mesa, CA 92626 and will feature a cutting-edge 3-D Theatre, informative workshops, Art Exhibit, image competitions, auction and trade fair.

Keynote Speaker – Lenny Lipton
Recognized as the father of the electronic stereoscopic display industry, Lenny was the lead inventor of the current state-of-the-art technologies that enable today’s theatrical filmmakers to project their feature films in 3D. His work is also the basis for much of today’s 3-D TV technology. He has 53 patents granted with many others pending.  Mr. Lipton also wrote the lyrics to ‘Puff, The Magic Dragon.’
