Lexington connected to three new Thea Award recipients


Lexington announced in its latest newsletter that the company will receive ‘our 29th, 30th and 31st Thea Awards for “The Wizarding World of Harry Potter”, a new themepark land at Universal Orlando Resort and the new groundbreaking exhibit Science Storms (pictured here) at the Museum of Science and Industry, Chicago.


‘Lexington played a major role in the success of the “Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey”, the feature attraction in “The Wizarding World of Harry Potter”. For Science Storms, Lexington developed, engineered, and fabricated over 40 of the most complex large-scale hands-on interactive exhibits in the museum’s history.’

The Thea Awards will be presented at the 17th Annual Thea Awards Gala on March 12, 2011 at the 17th Annual Thea Awards Gala, to be held at the Globe Theatre, Universal Studios Hollywood. The Awards Gala, sponsored by Economics at AECOM, is an elegant, black-tie dinner event and is open to the public.
