Lisa Deyo Joins IAAPA as Manager for Educational Programs

Alexandria, VA, USA — The International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA) announces Lisa Deyo has joined its team as the new manager for education programs. As a member of the education, training, and professional development department, Deyo will help develop and implement education programs, products, and services to support IAAPA members.

Deyo will act as a staff liaison to member committees, coordinate and host monthly webinars, develop education sessions for IAAPA Attractions Expo, and manage education-related content on www.IAAPA.org. She will also oversee the Institute for Attractions Managers program and manage the IAAPA Ambassador program.

Deyo brings 23 years of experience in education development and planning to IAAPA. Most recently, she served as the director of credentialing for the American Board of Addiction Medicine. She also previously worked as assistant director of certification with the American Society of Military Comptrollers, associate director of training and business development for the American Traffic Safety Services Association, and certification examination administration manager with the National Court Reporters Association.

Deyo attended Austin Peay University in Clarksville, Tennessee, and Strayer University in Washington, D.C.
