London Paramount Resort Announces Newest Stage of Public Consultations
The amount of interest and engagement that we have received over the last ten months has been hugely encouraging and we are looking forward to being able to show the local community how the proposals have evolved since the first viewing of the plans in November 2014. We hope local people can come along to the events and provide their feedback on the plans we are proposing to submit to the Secretary of State later this year.” — Fenlon Dunphy, London Paramount
London, UK (April 14, 2015) — London Resort Company Holdings, the developer behind the multi-billion pound London Paramount Entertainment Resort in North Kent, will be hosting ten public consultation events in Dartford and Gravesham between 29 April and 14 May. Visitors to the exhibitions will have the opportunity to view the emerging masterplan, a range of proposed transport options and a scaled model of the resort.

This latest round of consultation forms the fourth stage of community engagement on the resort and will help the project team to hear the public’s views on the plans that will be submitted to the Secretary of State later this year. Once complete, the world class entertainment resort plans to bring up to 27,000 jobs to the area and boast a great variety of exciting rides and attractions themed around the film and television programmes of Paramount Pictures Corporation, the BBC and Aardman Animations.

Over the past ten months the project team has held three stages of public consultation and met with over 4,900 local residents, businesses and community representatives. Most recently a series of workshop events were held in order to further discussions on key elements of the proposals including transport, infrastructure, environment, heritage, tourism, and employment. A report detailing the feedback from the workshops is available on the London Paramount website (www.londonparamount.info).
