San Antonio, TX, USA — For the second year in a row, Morgan’s Wonderland theme park has won a certificate of excellence from TripAdvisor, the world’s largest travel website, for “earning exceptional traveler ratings over the past year.”

“This prestigious award, which places Morgan’s Wonderland in the top-performing 10 percent of all businesses worldwide on TripAdvisor, is given to businesses that consistently earn high ratings from TripAdvisor travelers,” said Christine Petersen, president of TripAdvisor for Business.

To qualify for the award, businesses must maintain an overall rating of four or higher, out of a possible five, as reviewed by travelers on TripAdvisor, and must have been listed on TripAdvisor for at least 12 months.

Morgan’s Wonderland, a safe, affordable and completely wheelchair-accessible park, will be open daily through mid-August with the exception of Mondays.  And just like last summer, the park will open at 9 a.m. Tuesday through Saturday to take advantage of milder morning temperatures for guest comfort and enjoyment.

The latest information on Morgan’s Wonderland admissions, operating days/hours of operation and special events/celebrations can be found at www.MorgansWonderland.com.

“Non-profit Morgan’s Wonderland is the very first park of its kind because it was designed with special-needs individuals in mind but built so people of all ages and abilities can come together to have fun,” Morander noted.  “We’re now in our fourth year of operation, and we’ve welcomed guests from all over America and around the world.”

The inspiration for Morgan’s Wonderland came from philanthropist Gordon Hartman’s 19-year-old daughter Morgan.  Her soaring spirit despite personal challenges sparked within him and wife Maggie a deep desire to create a haven not only for those with special needs but also for their families, caregivers and invited friends.  “Inclusion is the overarching objective for Morgan’s Wonderland,” he explained.

Morgan’s Wonderland is located at 5223 David Edwards Drive in Northeast San Antonio just off IH 35 at the intersection of Wurzbach Parkway and Thousand Oaks Drive.
