One year after Expo 2020 Dubai

It’s been one year since Expo 2020 Dubai closed its doors. I still think about the experience regularly – the people, the technology, the pavilions, Al Wasl Dome… Nerd confession here: I’ve had my smart speaker play the Al Wasl Dome music and Awakening sequence every night at sundown since I first went to Expo at the end of 2021. The music still gives me chills to this day.
