Tustin, CA, USA — California-based, ProFun Management Group is pleased to announce the addition of Mike Oswald to the ProFun Corporate Team. With over 20 years of experience in the amusement and water park industry, Mike is well placed to offer his services as an Executive Vice President.
Mike joined ProFun originally in 2008 as Vice President, Operations and worked with the team to open Ferrari World Abu Dhabi and to work on the development of the Warner Bros. theme park. In 2009, he was named the General Manager for Yas Waterworld. Mike led his team through the feasibility, design, and construction process and ultimately to a very successful grand opening, in which the park was rated one of the top waterparks in the world. In 2013, he was named General Manager of Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, the largest indoor theme park in the world, in addition to remaining General Manager of Yas Waterworld.
Mike returned to ProFun headquarters in 2014 and will be responsible for overseeing projects globally and expanding the company’s expertise into new markets. Brad Merriman, Chief Operating Officer at ProFun Management Group, said, “Mike’s international experience and decades of hands-on waterpark management, brings additional depth to the already strong operating team at ProFun.
