Panasonic Adding Videro Operating System to AF1 Series Monitors

El Segundo, CA — As digital signage has become more sophisticated and technologically advanced, hardware manufacturers have begun to access and integrate higher functioning software into their ecosystems. PANASONIC has announced that it will be the first company to add the Videro® Operating System to all monitors that are being delivered as part of their AF1 series

Available later this month, the AF1 series will feature an HTML5-based OpenPort Platform™ as well as a 1GHz quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage to its most advanced digital signage monitors offered to date. “We are excited that Videro® is being installed into the new AF1 series ecosystem,” commented Brian Edwards, CEO of Edwards Technologies. “Our proprietary software enables one monitor to control an entire AF1 digital sign network as well as building-wide LED signs including lighting, audio, and show control. Videro® delivers all this functionality efficiently through one comprehensive cloud-based interface,” Edwards concluded.
