Previously with IAAPA for 16 years in the role of Director of Global Sponsorship and Advertising, Popovich brings to the team a wealth of industry expertise, affiliations and insights. In her new role, Popovich will oversee Outdoor Factory’s strategic sales initiatives, sales team development, industry partnerships and design coordination, with a focus on future development and support in the Americas and Europe.

“We are extremely pleased to have Emily on board at Outdoor Factory,” states Tolga Alisoglu, Head of Outdoor Factory USA. “Her experience in the amusement park and attractions industry is invaluable and will further enable us to provide the highest-level service to theme parks, family entertainment centers, resorts, shopping malls, and municipalities.”

“I’m delighted to join Outdoor Factory and help them infiltrate and better serve the market in the Americas and Europe. Their team, work culture and products are all top-notch and exciting. I’ve treasured my time with IAAPA and look forward to serving the industry from another angle,” states Popovich. Under her leadership, global sponsorship sales projected an average 26% growth rate in 2021 despite the pandemic. Her driven attitude and keen ability to authentically connect with customers worldwide has led to a near 20-fold growth in the association’s global sponsorship program from its beginnings.
