Callaghan Addition to PortAventura’s Hotel Gold River Brings High End 19th Century American Flair to Resort

PortAventura Resort, Spain (June 8 2015) PortAventura Resort’s Hotel Gold River’s has expanded with the new themed Callaghan building, featuring 78 new 4* Deluxe rooms, two of which are fully equipped for disabled access. Hotel Gold River is now the largest of the five hotels in the Resort with a total of 549 rooms.

The new two-story building replicates the style of the highly-fashionable lodges of the 19th Century America. From the architecture of the building to its interior design, the character of the Callaghan building recreates the atmosphere of a contemporary thriving mining town.

The complex has a private reception, its own bar and restaurant and ample parking for the exclusive use of its guests, separate to that of the main Hotel Gold River. Guests staying in the Callaghan Building can also enjoy premium services such as welcome drinks, free PortAventura Express Premium Passes, children gifts as well as free access to the Wellness Centers in other PortAventura hotels.

Coinciding with PortAventura’s 20th anniversary, the new Callaghan building is part of the wider resort expansion, an investment of more than 10 million Euros. This project, alongside the opening of the first 5 establishment, Hotel Mansión de Lucy, reflect PortAventura’s promise to offer high quality services, and its commitment to continued growth.
