Quantum Creative Studios’ CEO Jayson Raitt and Luce Group’s Founder Traci Klainer have announced the partial acquisition of Luce Group by Quantum Creative Studios and the formation of a formal strategic partnership between the two companies.
The move expands the collective scope of the two creative agencies’ services and capabilities while unifying project design, development, and production support efforts under the Quantum Creative Studios banner. Further, the partnership will greatly increase Quantum’s lighting design presence in the themed entertainment and exhibit world.
“This is a natural extension of our relationship with Traci and Luce,” said Kelly Easterling, Quantum’s Chief Creative Officer. “We have worked together for years designing control systems, often with supplemental lighting design when needed. We are excited to formalize a relationship that will last for years to come.”

Luce’s Richard Chamblin has joined the Quantum team as its new Creative Director where he will continue to spearhead lighting design projects for Luce clients and new projects for Quantum as well as provide creative oversight over Quantum’s themed entertainment and other innovative experiences. Richard has designed more than 125 productions, including Forever Cunard – Queen Mary 2 Nighttime Spectacular with Quantum.
For Luce, Richard designed extensively for theme parks including Busch Gardens, Universal Studios, and SeaWorld Parks and Entertainment. He has lead creative design efforts for major national museums and clients including the Smithsonian Institute, The Clark Art Institute, The National Marine Corps Museum, The Washington Monument, The Empire State Building, The Edward M Kennedy Library, and projects with the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences.
