Ricardo Legoretta, Designer of Two Landmark San Jose Museums, Passes Away at 80

The San Jose Mercury News reports on the architect of the Children’s Discovery Museum and the Tech Museum of Innovation in San Jose, CA, USA.  Legoretta also designed the new building for the Ft. Worth Museum of Science and History in Ft. Worth, TX, which opened in 2009.

Above all, Ricardo Legoretta understood the light of San Jose. The Mexico City architect, who designed the Children’s Discovery Museum and the Tech Museum of Innovation, died Friday at 80. He left behind a legacy of color and drama — and a story about bubble-gum pink paint.”
