Sally Corporation’s Jan Sherman Retiring After 32 Years

Jacksonville, FL, USA — After 32 years of loyal and dedicated service, Jan Sherman has decided to retire from her role as AVP/Creative Director at Sally Corporation.

John Wood, Chairman and CEO of Sally Corporation comments, “She has been a consummate professional who never failed to deliver a quality product on schedule.  Jan has traveled to studios in Taiwan, Japan, Canada and most recently China, and spent countless hours in local studios with local talent to produce excellent soundtracks for our figures and rides.  Her contributions will certainly be missed and we all wish her the very best in her retirement.”

Lauren-Wood-WeaverLauren W. Weaver will assume the role of Marketing Director.  Weaver joined the dark ride and animatronics design/manufacturing company in 2008 as a member of Sally’s business development team.  She has since taken on the role of digital marketing manager, maintaining the company’s website and social media channels, as well as trade show coordinator, organizing the company’s expo presence internationally. A graduate of Jacksonville’s StantonCollegePreparatory School, she holds a bachelor’s degree in international affairs from FloridaStateUniversity.  Lauren brings extensive experience in modern marketing tactics and will continue Jan’s advertising efforts to maintain Sally’s marketing program.
