Matt Kent joins Scenario as Director of New Business Development

Scenario, the international themed construction contractor, has announced that Matt Kent has joined the company as Director of New Business Development, reporting to Dan Moalli, Senior Vice President of Scenario’s North American Operations. In this position, Matt will lead efforts to connect the company to new clientele and partners in themed entertainment markets, as well as leverage Scenario’s capabilities to adjacent industries. Matt will work alongside Kayleigh Martin, Scenario’s Director of Strategic Partnerships.

“I am thrilled to announce this expansion of our business development team.  Matt brings a wealth of experience in driving strategies that build brands in the field of themed entertainment and guest experience,” says Moalli. “We look forward to leveraging his talents to grow global awareness of Scenario and the capabilities of our exceptional team. Matt is a well-respected and highly effective relationship builder and I am thrilled to welcome him to the Scenario family.”

Matt joins Scenario as a 12-year themed entertainment industry veteran, and currently sits on the International Board of the Themed Entertainment Association (TEA), an international non-profit association representing the world’s leading creators, developers, designers and producers of compelling places and experiences – worldwide.

A growing company

Scenario’s portfolio includes over a dozen large-scale themed entertainment projects for top tier customers. It employs over 300 staff in technical design, project management and production roles. The company is a division of Cockram, a full-service international Specialist Construction Company operating since 1861 with over 750 staff and more than $1B projects under management. Cockram is majority-owned by Kajima Corporation, a 175-year-old international diversified GC with over $17B annual sales.

Scenario recently crossed a milestone in its development when it celebrated the completed fabrication of over 400,000 square feet of show set elements in less than 18 months.

“In our growth, we have laid the foundation for an increasing level of support and service to our customers with large US and international facilities,” said a company spokesperson. “Our focus is on professional, well-managed services to our customers to deliver predictable, high-quality projects in all regions and markets.”
