Meridian,MS, USA — Ideal Software Systems announces that Scott Mire has joined the Ideal Software Systems team as Director of Development, Amusement Division, while Alvin Brown has been selected as Director of Engineering for the amusement industry’s most comprehensive, versatile and user-friendly enterprise management system.

Mire brings a diversified background to Ideal Software that includes experience in software development, support, marketing and product management earned while creating successful products and experiences for world-renowned organizations such as the Smithsonian Institution and Peavey Electronics Corporation, as well as IVR (interactive voice response) innovator Voxeo and e-commerce pioneer

“Ideal Software pioneered many of the processes and products that have made amusement centers more profitable, from creating a service-centric redemption model to its early focus on party management, cashless systems, and inventory and cash control,” said Mire. “Joining the Ideal Software team as it aggressively pursues new innovations with hosted and mobile products presents an exciting opportunity to be part of the company’s next period of growth.”

Brown, a longtime member of the Ideal Software leadership team, has transitioned to the new Director of Engineering post, which will allow him to oversee the company’s design research initiatives, the strategic deployment of software systems, and the development of application-specific hardware.

“Under Alvin’s leadership, Ideal re-engineered the architecture of its hosted products such as online ticketing and hosted event reservations, as well as spearheaded the next-generation Ideal Flash Reader, which promotes greater profitability and an enhanced guest experience in amusement centers,” said Goldman. “As Director of Engineering, Alvin will lead the development of technological advancements that improve our customers’ ability to succeed.”
