Scruffy Dog Provides Design and Production Services to Emmerdale Studio Experience

Birmingham, UK — Scruffy Dog announces its involvement on one of its most exciting UK visitor attraction projects to date.

Its design and production teams worked alongside ITV and Continuum Attractions on the Emmerdale Studio Experience from the offset, transforming early ideas and ambitious dreams into a reality.

The iconic ITV studio on Burley Road in Leeds has been transformed into a 2000 sqm interactive studio tour experience showcasing the behind the scenes magic that takes place during the making of the much-loved series, Emmerdale, ultimately creating an unforgettable studio experience for all those who visit.

The experience was born from the creative mind of Joe Bright, Scruffy Dog’s lead creative director and founder, an individual with years of experience in Film & Television. He states, “This was a project in which I was able to blend my knowledge of where I started in Film & TV into my passion for attractions.”

The attraction has been split into 5+ zones, each with unique narratives and set-ups for the guests to explore.

As the walk-through tour unfolds, guests discover how the sets, storylines and characters are born initially on paper and brought to life using state of the art technology and full scale set re-creations. Guests also have the chance to have a souvenir photograph taken from behind the bar in the iconic Woolpack pub.

Tours run 7 days a week, from 10am – 5pm and 150,000 visitors are expected to visit the attraction in it’s first calendar year.
