Six Flags New England Opens April 9 Supporting Children Impacted by Domestic Violence

Agwam, MA, USA — Six Flags New England is opening its gates for the 2016 season and will be open for MA, CT and RI Spring Breaks, Saturday April 9- Sunday April 24.

In celebration of opening day, the park is partnering with the Springfield Police Department in collecting new Teddy Bears of any size for children impacted by domestic abuse calls. The Springfield Police provides Teddy Bears to children who are impacted by domestic violence and is a major part of their healing process.

On Opening Day, April 9, Six Flags New England tries to fill a police car with Teddy Bears. The property anticipates hundreds of teddy bears throughout the promotion and are looking forward to help a great cause. Kids will also be invited to interact with local law enforcement and have an opportunity to see an official police vehicle firsthand. Guests who donate a new Teddy Bear will receive $20.16 off the Main Gate admission price.

New for the 2016 Season

Six Flag New England, the Coaster Capital of New England, is gearing up for an incredible 2016 season with the addition of three NEW coaster experiences, SUPERMAN ™ The Ride, Fireball and SUPERMAN ™ The Ride Virtual Reality Coaster.

SUPERMAN ™ The Ride returns April 9 as it overthrew Bizarro in a triumphant battle.

The all-new looping coaster Fireball will propel riders seven stories in the air as they circle the inside of the giant loop track. Premiering to Season Pass holders May 14 & 15.

SUPERMAN ™ The Ride Virtual Reality Coaster opening to the public on June 11 will provide riders with an entirely new coaster experience.  A Virtual Reality Coaster offers ground-breaking technology and an experience like no other.
