TEA names Crane Dance at Resorts World Sentosa for Thea Award

The Producers Group congratulates Resorts World Sentosa on being named for a Thea Award for the Crane Dance
“The Crane Dance is truly a one of a kind attraction,” remarked Edward Marks, Executive Producer & Co-CEO of The Producers Group, after hearing the Nov 15 announcement of the 18th annual Thea Award recipients by the Themed Entertainment Association. “It comes as no surprise to me that it would garner a Thea Award.”

“The team at Resorts World Sentosa should feel proud of everything they’ve accomplished since the attraction opened last December,” commented Bob Chambers, Executive Producer & Co-CEO of The Producers Group. “It was a pleasure working with them to help realize Crane Dance.”

The Crane Dance is a multimedia moving art installation that began operation on December 25, 2010 at the Resorts World Sentosa integrated resort on the island of Sentosa in Singapore. Jeremy Railton and Entertainment Design Corporation created the choreographed animatronics attraction. It is currently under consideration for the World’s Largest Animatronic Robots by Guinness World Records.

“I’d especially like to thank Mr. Jeremy Railton for giving us the opportunity to work on Crane Dance, now to be honored with the Thea Award,” said Marks. “Working with Jeremy is always a rewarding experience. Congratulations to everyone involved with this unique attraction.” Members of The Producers Group worked on Crane Dance, providing services to Entertainment Design Corporation. Marks served as Producer and Project Director, while Chambers was Senior Technical Director.
