UK Paramount Themed Resort Developer Hires Chris Townsend as Commercial Director

London, UK (December 10, 2012) — London Resort Company Holdings has appointed Chris Townsend as Commercial Director.  The company is currently developing a  £2 billion resort in Kent themed to Paramount Pictures and its motion picture and television properties, set to open by 2018.  

In his previous position as Commercial Director for the London 2012 Organising Committee, Mr. Townsend oversaw all aspects of sponsorship, marketing, ticket sales, and merchandise for the 2012 London Olympic and Paralympic Games.
