The game takes place on Saturday, Dec. 8 with kickoff at noon, but fans can arrive at 10 a.m. and claim their viewing spot. Food and refreshments will be available for purchase from Schubros Brewery. Fans will be able to watch the game on a super large screen.
Tickets to the viewing party are included in the price of admission to the USS Hornet. Admission is: $16 for adults; $13 for military personnel, students and seniors $7 for youth ages 5-17; children under 5 are free with paying adults. The USS Hornet is located at 707 W. Hornet Ave., Pier 3 in Alameda. Ample free parking is available across from the pier.
This year, Navy looks to expand on its unprecedented 10-year winning streak, while Army looks to break the decade-long slump. The first Army-Navy game was played in 1890 at West Point.
This special event is sponsored by San Ramon-based Schubros Brewery and DaVinci Fusion, a San Francisco production agency.

Davinci Fusion, the USS Hornet’s official partner for theatrical events, will prepare the Hangar Bay and erect a large screen for the crowd to watch the event live in theater style.
In addition, The USS Hornet Museum invites those to join its Bay Area New Years Eve Gala. From 7:30 p.m. to 1 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 31 revelers can enjoy live music, a silent auction, cash bars and food concessions, and a midnight countdown with the spectacular view of the Bay Area skyline as a backdrop. Guests will be able to view San Francisco fireworks from the Flight Deck, weather-permitting, at this Bay Area Tourist Destination.
Opening the night’s festivities will be the Swinging Blue Stars performing “A Tribute to the Andrews Sisters.” The rest of the evening will be spent dancing to the sounds of 3 O’Clock Jump, a 17-piece band made up of some of the best swing and jazz musicians from the Bay Area. Their musical style blends the classic Big Band songs of the WWII era with an eclectic mix that includes the Rhumba, Cha Cha Cha and Waltz.
For those needing a refresher, free dance lessons will be provided throughout the evening by Jim Truesdale, a former Fred Astaire instructor.
The silent auction will include hotel packages, gift certificates to Bay Area restaurants, wine, sporting event tickets, museum experiences and fine jewelry.
