VIDEO: Scotland’s Only IMAX Film Theater Prepares to Go Digital

Glasgow, UK — Film continues its departure as a giant screen medium.  InPark Magazine has learned that museum-based IMAX theaters in Portland, OR, USA and Edmonton, AB, Canada are planning the switch to digital formats within the next few months.  And as Scotland’s only museum-based IMAX theater prepares to convert to digital, Robert Johnstone, IMAX Theatre Director at the Glasgow Science Centre, reflects in the following video on the joy of 15 perforation 70mm film.
