Boston, MA, USA — The Jackson Hole Science Media Awards recognizes the outstanding media that best illustrates the wonders of science to a broad audience. Science producers often overcome long odds to do their work, but given the pace at which research is moving and the public confusion that often exists about science, their work has never been more important.
More than 480 entries are competing for 21 awards this year! 100+ preliminary judges screened 3,000+ hours to select the finalists.
Immediately prior to the Science Media Symposium, an independent jury will choose the winning films. Winners will be celebrated during the Science Media Symposium, at a gala event on Sept. 17th at the New England Aquarium.
