Vortex providing water play structures to Melia Hotels International’s newest resort

Vortex Aquatic Structures International announces that it is partnering with Meliá Hotels International to provide water park play structures for the chain’s new member-only destination in Punta Cana, in the Dominican Republic.

Meliá Hotels International entrusted the design of its water park to renowned architect and hotel amenity concept designer Alvaro Sans. Together, they selected Vortex International to provide the structural elements, as they felt its sophisticated, elegant designs and attention to imaginative, interactive aquatic play contributed to creating a value-added experience for guests.

The water park area will consist of a total of four pools and feature three Vortex Elevations™ multi-level structures of different sizes, as well as four standalone water slides and a variety of ground-level Poolplay elements. The configuration provides high immersive play value, to ensure families with children of all ages and abilities have fun together and create lasting memories of their stay.
