Vortex partnering with Royal Caribbean International for its private island destination

Vortex Aquatic Structures International, a world leader in the aquatic play industry, is pleased to announce it will be providing interactive, climbable aquatic play structures for the island waterpark of Royal Caribbean International’s Perfect Day at CocoCay destination, in the Bahamas.

Scheduled for completion in late 2019, Perfect Day at CocoCay aims to complete the cruise vacation experience on land with the same level of excellence as Royal Caribbean is known to provide on its ships. Vortex International will be installing Elevations™ structures as part of the expansive water park.

Vortex Elevations™ offer multi-level adventure in a stimulating environment, with multiple water features and effects for action-packed physical, social and interactive play. The various structure elements appeal to children of different ages, so the entire family can have fun together and create lasting memories.

As Stephen Hamelin, President of Vortex International, explained, “It’s about creating a unique destination experience for every guest. Both Vortex and Royal Caribbean are committed to creating memorable and magical moments for families and that is why our partnership works so well.”

Vortex International has worked with Royal Caribbean International in the past, manufacturing aquatic structures for children aboard the Majesty of the Seas, Liberty of the Seas, Empress of the Seas, Independence of the Seas, Ovation of the Seas, Adventure of the seas, Harmony of the Seas and the recently introduced Symphony of the Seas cruise ships.
