Wadi Adventure in Al Ain, Abu Dhabi, UAE, has announced that Mr. Scott Wellington was appointed as the park’s new General Manager as of March 1, 2018.
After beginning his career in 2001 in the U.S. as Aquatics Manager at Wet n’ Wild, Las Vegas, Wellington worked at Daytona Lagoon (Daytona Beach, FL) as the Waterpark/Food & Beverage Manager, as Operations Manager at Wild Waters (Ocala, FL) and Director of Operations at Raging Waves (Yorkville, IL) after which he relocated to the UAE to become Operations Manager at Yas Waterworld in 2012 and Operations Director at Ferrari World in 2014.
Wellington also has considerable experience in human resources, training, and development; having undertaken training roles throughout his career.
Wellington had the following to say about his new appointment: “I am delighted to have been given this opportunity to become the General Manager of this unique facility. I will be working hard to achieve even higher levels of hospitality.
