During this quarantine period, consumers are adapting to a completely new and unfamiliar shopping journey – stores deemed “nonessential” are closed and those that are open are changing to comply with social distancing regulations, new safety concerns, supply chain disruptions and product shortages, among other issues. How will changing consumer behavior now impact brands and retailers in the future?

This webinar, produced by BXP & VMSD Magazine, will offer a snapshot of the current customer landscape and how our experts believe it might change in post-COVID-19 reality, once stores have re-opened, packaged goods are readily available, travel is unrestricted and consumer confidence has rebounded.

Amanda has been with The Kroger Co. since 2006. She began her career with Kroger as a Store Planner, designing the interior layouts and fixture plans for its Fred Meyer division stores. In 2009, she transitioned into a role within the Interior Design department and has remained in that department, holding her current role as a Senior Interior Designer, managing all of the interiors for Kroger’s East Coast Division stores. Amanda has also been a member of the VMSD Editorial Advisory Board since 2017.

Maria Albulescu is a Store Planning Manager at Walgreens responsible for leading large scale remodeling programs as well as new store development from early stages of design and planning through construction and launch. Her passion and professional experience in retail design have grounded her drive for store planning excellence. She also enjoys heading Walgreens Environmental Sustainability BRG Education chair as well as serving as the Vice President of the Chicago chapter of the Retail Design Institute for the 2018-2020 term. In addition to earning an interior design degree, Maria is LEED AP ID+C accredited.
