WhiteWater Brings Aquatic Thrills to Second Phase of Lotte Water Park

Richmond, BC, Canada — Lotty, Lorry and Lokky, the three characters who revived and now watch over Lotte Water Park have discovered a new area of the beautiful Polynesian island.

Together with WhiteWater’s expertise, they have created a new zone filled with thrills, adventure and mystery. On June 12th, Lotte Water Park unveiled the second and final phase of the outdoor park which features another world-class line-up of waterslides manufactured by WhiteWater.

Lotte Water Park in Busan, Korea experienced tremendous attendance numbers when it opened for its first season in 2014. For the 2015 summer season, Lotte World has unveiled 12 more colourful waterslides including dueling Master Blasters, a Boomerango, four interlocking AquaLoops and more. In additional to the waterslides, WhiteWater has supplied a FlowRider Double where guests can test their surfing skills.

Built in two stages, the multi-phased construction process was required to accommodate the sheer scope of the waterpark, one that is home to Korea’s largest wave pool and Korea’s largest Abyss, built during phase one. The latest expansion will allow Lotte to open their doors to even more eager thrill-seekers, potentially topping last year’s attendance record of 18,000 guests per day.
