WhiteWater presents “Splash Factor Report: A state of the nation on water rides”

By using a quantitative research methodology, WhiteWater surveyed over 100 parks around the world last year to probe deeper into their parks’ water ride element, therefore enabling us to create an industry benchmark.

Leveraging the results of this study, the company is pleased to share its findings through its Splash Factor Report. The goal is to provide a better understanding of the emerging trends in the water ride market across different regions.

Some of the key findings of the report:

— 1 out of 4 parks have not optimized their water rides to their full potential

— Despite being a classic experience, 1 in 5 parks do not have a water ride

— Unlike larger and full-scale parks, medium and small-sized parks are generally missing out on the opportunity to offer guests a water ride experience in their ride mix

— Water rides are most valued for their iconic big splash, entertainment across age-groups, and the classic flume experience

However, these are just a few of the survey findings. The complete Splash Factor Report offers detailed findings of the survey and expert insights on emerging trends in the water ride segment.
